To register for Bell classes, simply complete the
registration form and mail or return in person to Bell Community Center, 6250 Pine Avenue, Bell, California, 90201. Register in person Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Please make checks payable to the City of Bell. Please do not enclose cash. The City of Bell also accepts Mastercard or Visa for persons registering in person. Registration continues until all classes are full.
MON & WED
Youth Computer Class
- Ages: Children from grades 4 to 7
- Time: 4:00 p.m.–5:15 p.m.
- Place: Camp Little Bear parking lot in the SCDC Mobile RV
- Duration: Session1: February 1- March 30, 2010 & Session 2: April 5 - June 1, 2010
- Class Description: Trinidad Reyes teaches fundamental computer and internet skills. Includes word processing and email.

*Bell Fun Camp
- Ages: 5-13
- Time: 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Place: Veterans' Memorial Park
- Class Description: Keep the kids busy during the school break. Join us for water play, outdoor activities, summer fun outings, movies, games, science experiments, fun camp Idol, barbeques and more! Register June 1, 2010 7:30 a.m. at Veterans' Memorial Park Clubhouse. Space is limited so arrive early!
- Duration: June 21 – September 3, 2010
- Cost: $30 Bell Residents, $40 Non-Residents. Save $5 when you enroll additional siblings.

- Class Description: Children learn colors, shapes, letters and numbers through songs, games, and art. They improve communication skills and learn to get along with others in preparation for kindergarten. Big fun for little kids!
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Cost: $60 Bell residents; $85 nonresidents. $1 per minute charge for late pick up.

- Class Description: Vincent Diaz improves health, confidence, balance and coordination with this ancient art.

♦Beginning Jazz Dance
- Ages: 7 and up
- Time: 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
- Place: Camp Little Bear
- Class Description: Beginning Jazz gives the dancer a comprehensive introduction to basic jazz techniques. Emphasis on placement, focuses on basic jazz dance components, performance quality, and syncopated rhythms. Center combinations, floor combinations and the introduction of jumps and turns.
- Duration: 8 week session
- Cost: $35 Bell residents; $45 Non-Residents
TUES & THURS
♦Intermediate Jazz Dance
- Ages: 7 and up
- Time: 7:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
- Place: Camp Little Bear
- Class Description: Intermediate Jazz allows the dancer to continue to strengthen and expand their performing skills. Emphasis on jazz technique and introducing contemporary jazz and lyrical jazz to the intermediate dancer. Center combinations, across the floor combinations, advanced jumps, dance routines, and double turns.

WEDNESDAYS

Beginning Keyboard Course Session A
- Ages: 8-13
- Time: 9:00 a.m.–9:55 a.m.
- Place: Camp Little Bear Lodge
- Class Description: Alex Hernandez leads the class in melodic and harmonic drills. Students also perform in a group or solo setting. Students are required to bring a three ring binder or folder and pencil and eraser.
Student limit per class is 6.
- Duration: 6 two-week classes
- Cost: $20
SATURDAYS
♦Lil Sluggers
- Ages: boys and girls - 3, 4 and 5
- Time: 10:00 a.m.–12:00 noon
- Place: Debs Park
- Class Description: Young players learn basic soccer skills while having fun!

SATURDAYS
Beginning Percussion Course Session A
- Ages: 8-13
- Time: 1:00 p.m.–1:55 p.m.
- Place: Camp Little Bear Lodge
